Alaas Magaaiy area is the venue of the official opening ceremony of the ninth Olonkho Ysyakh. The solemn ceremony of the Republic national holiday was attended by the head of republic Yegor Borisov with his wife Praskovya Petrovna, chairman of the State Assembly (Il Tymen) Alexander Zhirkov, head of the Churapchy district Nogovitsin Andrew, chairman of the Union of Journalists of Russia Valery Ganichev, as well as participants of the visiting session of the Writers Russian Union and Guests from UK, USA, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Japan, South Korea – in total 14 countries and 26 districts of the republic.

At the beginning, guests by tradition witnessed the ritual ceremony of purification Archy, followed by the main algyshyt and 8 algyschyts performance on a central platform with the rite of blessing. Tens of thousands of the opening ceremony visitors witnessed a stunning pageant about the establishment of the middle world, the birth of Kulun Kulustuur hero and the struggle between good and evil. In total, 2,5 thousand artists participated in the presentation.

After the official part, there was official opening of the ninth republic national holiday of Olonkho Ysyakh with the awarding the republic head Yegor Borisov asign Ytyk Duo5a.

The official ceremony ended with a rite of national beverage kumys-drinking and mass osuokhay around the sacred Aal Luuk Mas tree.
