First, the representatives of the peoples, living in our republic, greeted visitors in their native languages. Then known poets went to the stage. From their mouths the audience heard the poems in the Yakut language, rich in artistic and expressive means, and traditional long songs, accompanied by folk musical instruments.
After the performances in the Yakut, the evening was continued by representatives of indigenous peoples of the North. Here, all the spectators and guests of the international project witnessed their unique folklore. Only this evening, everyone could get in touch with the unique creativity and language of the North indigenous peoples. Despite the fact that today there is an acute problem of their languages' disappearance, the visitors saw the bright performances at the Evenk, Even, Dolgan, Yukagir and Russian Ustye languages.
Further that day, the audience enjoyed performances of the Buryat, Tuva, Mongolia, Kyrgyz and Ukrainian peoples' representatives.
This wonderful interethnic project "Mother tongue is the property of people" was concluded by the Russian language block, where people heard expressive poems and folk songs.
All languages are beautiful, every language is beautiful in its own, and is responsible for human destiny in unique way, and each is a living heritage we must preserve.
