As previously reported, "VEB-Leasing" announced the termination of contracts for the lease of two planes Sukhoi Superjet-100 and three Bombardier Q400 aircrafts, operated by "Yakutia" airline. The decision was explained by "systematic violations of the payment discipline and delay of lease payments by the airlines."
The social importance of regional air services and the need inproduction of consolidated actions for resumption of aircraft lease agreements were noted at the talks. It was agreed to amend the current lease agreements on mutually beneficial terms.
Sakha Republic (Yakutia) government together with JSC "Yakutia» Airline" continues to work on the implementation of the decisions taken to improve financial stability and further development of the airline.
Currently, the airline continues to operate aircrafts SSJ-100 and Bombardier Q-400 on its route network.
