The main purpose of the visit is presentation of Mr. Richter as the new Consul General of Germany in Novosibirsk and discussion of further cooperation and participation in the national festival "Ysyakh of Tuymaada."

The visit program included meetings with the Chairman of the State Assembly Il Tymen Alexander Zhirkov, the mayor of Yakutsk Aisen Nikolayev, provost NEFU Mikhail Fedorov, also visit of Yakutsk schools.

The talks with Mr Richter discussed the development of economic and trade cooperation of Yakutia with the German partners.

Deputy Minister of Federal and External Relations Faina Sokolova spoke about the current state of international and foreign economic relations between Yakutia and German partners, discussed issues of cooperation between the workers of the Ministry and Consulate General of Germany in Novosibirsk.
