Two new solar stations appeared in Verkhoyansk ulus: power of the photovoltaic array in the village is 40 kW, in Stolby village is 10 kW. Another station was built in the village Uluu of Aldan Ulus, its power is 20 kW. PP are synchronized with the existing diesel power plants in the villages, and partially replace their production. Today, the total installed capacity of "RAO Energy Systems of East" is 1285 kW. According to the holding specialists, fuel economy as a result of replacement by solar power in 2016 should reach 408 tons, which is equivalent to 18,4 million rubles.

Introducing SPP in Verkhoyansk ulus, holding "RAO Energy Systems of East" first tried out "sectional method” of construction. Procurement and delivery of equipment for the villages were merged with the project of Batagay solar station.

In the near future, "sectional method" is to be applied in construction of other stations in the district. The comprehensive program of "RAO Energy Systems of the East" for implementation of renewable energy technologies in the Far East involves construction of 178 solar power stations and wind systems with a total capacity of about 146 MW. Realization of this comprehensive program will save more than 30 thousand tons of diesel fuel annually, which is more than 2 billion rubles in monetary terms.
