More than 40 people participated in the round table – representatives of science, education, business, public authorities, innovation infrastructure, as well as students from both regions. Participants were informed about the experience of the development of innovation infrastructure in Yakutia and Tomsk region, as well as the role of science and education in the development of innovation.

Experience in the commercialization of scientific research and innovation projects in the Tomsk region caused great interest of the Yakut side. They asked many questions, to which the head of the Department of Science and Innovation Policy Administration of Tomsk region Andrei Makaseev and his colleagues gave detailed answers. In turn, the guests got acquainted with the activities of the Arctic Innovation Centre of the M.K. Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University, "Yakutia" Technopark” and "Yakutia" Venture Company. A detailed report on the innovation system of the republic was presented by Acting Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic on Innovation Policy and Science M. Trofimov.
