"The agenda we have is very serious. It includes questions under constant control of authorities and the public, and deal with implementation of the agreement between the government of Yakutia and ALROSA, signed until 2020. This work is carried out as planned, and today we want to flesh out some points and to take certain decisions," head of the republic Yegor Borisov said, opening the meeting.

The workshop was attended by members of the government, headed by Prime Minister Galina Danchikova, deputies of the State Assembly (Il Tymen), the management of ALROSA.

We recall, the agreement on social and economic cooperation between the Government of Yakutia and ALROSA was signed in Moscow in March 5, 2011 by prime minister of the republic Galina Danchikova and the company’s president Fedor Andreev.

"The subject of this contract are the terms of the parties' cooperation in the field of socio-economic development of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) in implementation of the right to use subsurface resources by the company in the territory of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

The development of long-term cooperation is carried out through participation in programs and projects of social and economic development of the republic, the parties' cooperation to mobilize material and intellectual resources," the document says.
