A quarter of Yakutia agricultural lands are still abandoned

In preparation for adoption of the law on "Putin’s hectare," providing land to wishing to move to the Far East, Yakutia should provide documentation on all the lands, having masters or with restrictions on use as protected areas, to Rusregister. In some uluses, work on registration of land failed, in theory, unregistered lands can go for "Putin’s hectare."

The final version of the draft law "On providing citizens a land in Far East" should be ready by November 15 and the bill to be submitted to the Duma until the year end. The law was developed at the request of Vladimir Putin, so its adoption is unlikely to drag on for a long time. Acceptance of applications for provision of land and allocation of free land would be based on database of Rusregister, where exhaustive information about the "occupied lands" must go up to February 1, 2016.

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic Petr Alekseev held a meeting on the progress on registration of agricultural lands, PA, charting surveying and projects of settlements planning.

According to Deputy Minister of Property and Land Relations of the republic Viktor Afanasev, work on cadastral registration of agricultural land has been held from 2009, to date, 27% lands on area or 35% in the number of sites, are still undocumented.
