George Balakshin said the team from Mongolia have taken part in the "Children of Asia" Sports Games since its beginning, and is one of the largest delegations in the number of participants.

"Last year, we participated in the Association of development of the northern countries in East Asia. We spoke with the initiative and created a subcommittee on sport. This year we will hold a meeting of the subcommittee in Yakutsk. Through this subcommittee, we will develop our national sports – khapsagai, national jumping and mas-wrestling. And in June, we invite you to take part in the work of the subcommittee, where we will discuss everything closely and productively," the first deputy minister of sport said.

"We have a lot in common. Including in the sport. For example, the team games are not popular among the minorities, we do combat more, - Consul General said, - so we need further development. Our population is three million now. Maybe we'll create the team games, when we reach three millions”.

The main outcome of the meeting was an agreement to expand cooperation between the parties in the development of sport relations, as well as the presentation of an official position of the VI International Sports Games "Children of Asia" to the Consul General of Mongolia, the press service of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) Sports Ministry said.
